Texas Wing Summer Encampment 2021

From 2 Jul 2021– 11 July 2021 Texas Wing Cadet Programs will conduct a Basic Cadet Encampment. This activity, authorized by Headquarters Texas Wing, is under control of Cadet Programs, Texas Wing, and is hosted by Texas Wing Headquarters. The activity will be held at_________________

The Students (Basic Cadets) will need to complete the necessary required forms with ALL signatures. Required forms as listed herein must be emailed to Cadet Program Senior Leadership at cpadmin@txwg.cap.gov. All forms and payment via Eventbrite™ must be received by 12 Jun 2021. Late applications will not be accepted. No one arriving without having previously emailed all forms will be allowed to sign into the activity. DO NOT send forms by any postal or delivery method that requires a signature. If you are worried about your paperwork arriving on time, please contact us at cpadmin@txwg.cap.gov. For Cadets and Seniors, the following forms must be included with their application (all forms are available at www.texascadet.org).

A. Sign-in for all Senior and Cadet staff will be between 1200 and 1300 hours on 2 Jul 2021. All personnel will need a current CAP ID card and copies of all their paperwork. All attendees must eat lunch prior to arrival.

B. All Basic Students must arrive for check-in from 1200 - 1530 hours on 4 July 2021. Basics need to report in the ABU uniform. All personnel will need a current CAP ID card and copies of all their paperwork. Lunch will not be provided on day of check-in; it is recommended that Students eat lunch prior to arrival. Supper will be held at Encampment on day of check-in.

C. Graduation will begin promptly at 1100 hours on 11 Jul 2021. All attendees must participate in the graduation unless the encampment commander grants a waiver to attend. Parents/guests are welcome to attend; arrival time is 0930 hours on 11 Jul 2021. Camp Bullis is a Department of Defense facility. Civilian Visitors to the facility that do not have a Department of Defense (DOD) Identification Card MUST have prior approval via the Unescorted Access Request with final approval made by Security Forces. It is imperative that EACH individual desiring base access for graduation ensure they complete the Unescorted Base Access part of each cadet, cadre or senior Google™ application form. Changes/modifications to the original information must be sent to cpadmin@txwg.cap.gov via email and received by 15 June 21 FOR PROCESSING WITH BASE SECURITY FORCES. D. Senior Staff and Cadet Cadre will be released at approximately 1500 hours (earlier if the buildings are cleaned/cleared quickly) on 11 Jul 2021 after the facility manager releases Texas Wing Cadet Programs from responsibility on JBSA Camp Bullis.

E. Additional Covid-19 information, required forms and a return travel plan will be emailed to attendees. The information and forms are also be available at www.texascadet.org. The forms and travel plan are required, must be completed and received by 12 June 2021 to attend.
